6 Reasons to still watch Full House

Being a child of the early 90s, I caught enough reruns of Full House to fall in love with the show. So, when I rewatch it now, I get this immense nostalgia for those simpler days. No Netflix or any kind of social media days? Well, it could happen!
#1: Family & Friends
Family is very important. But Full House taught us that families come in all shapes and sizes! Even if the Tanners weren't a traditional one by all definitions, they still were a tight-knit family. The values they had as a family were frankly the bedrock on which I made a lot of distinctions between good and not-so-good when I was a kid. And then, the family had Kimmy who was one hell of an interesting neighbour, to say the least!
#2: Teenage woes
Being a teen is no easy matter no matter which year it was! The growing pains when you don't really know which way is up or what's going on in your own body were made so much easier by the existence of the Tanner girls. It was still hard, but it wasn't that bad with them around. Was it?

#3: Uncle Jesse
I really wished for a cool uncle who was a musician, in a band, was obsessed with his hair and was devoted to rock 'n roll. Sadly, didn't happen. But, I got to share him with the Tanner sisters (and the rest of the world). I think that's when I got obsessed with Harley too. Oh, well. And then there's always his relationship with Michelle. Swoon! Despite not being a parent, he made a wonderful parental figure.
The family had awesome catchphrases which I still sometimes use - especially Steph's and Michelle's! They're incredibly perfect for any situation. And you can pepper them into your every day for a zing!
#5: OCD Parent
We all seem to have one parent (at least) who just likes things a little too neat and clean. I am not complaining! It's a great lesson to learn - especially if you end up sharing space in college or uni.

#6: A crazy relative
Joey isn't crazy per se. Just someone who never grew up. It's always a pleasure to have someone who makes light of things around - only sometimes are they actual family. But, especially when you need someone who can see the light at the end of the tunnel having someone like Joey is a blessing. Don't have one? Well, there's always the actual Joey.

No matter when I think this show is going to be relevant for kids and adults. There may come a time when most of the appliances (like a landline) would be unrecognisable for the kids of the future. What then? Well, I reckon they could watch it as a historical sitcom!
Have you seen it yet?
Cheers!
