Aerin is a luxury brand that I've had my eyes on for a truly long while. The brand has cosmetics, home decor, fashion and perfume. The brand is owned by Aerin Rebecca Lauder who is the granddaughter of Estee Lauder. She is also the Style and Image Director for the Estee Lauder Companies. I really have a girl crush on this super talented and accomplished woman! So, naturally I own a few things from the range.
Every time I have to go somewhere for an extremely short trip I have a 'Makeup bag crisis'. I know that carrying too much makeup for beach getaway is just plain ridiculous! One easy palette which would just add a little oomph is what I need. And that's what The Weekend Palette is. It's made packing for the weekend so very much better! I don't think I've had a palette where I really love and use every single thing in it, which goes to show how great this one is!

The Weekend Palette comes with a Pretty Bronze bronzer, a cream highlighter in the shade Glow, a multi-use color in Natural (that can be used as eyeshadow, lipstick, or blush), two lipcolors and two eyeshadows. The Rose Balm Lipsticks are some of my favorites when I was to do a sheer and hydrating swipe of something on my lips. Think of the days that you do a no-makeup makeup look. The lip colors in this palette are Whisper and Cabana and they're truly gorgeous! My favorite part are the eyeshadows. I usually end up swiping Cocoa, which is a gorgeous espresso brown, all over my eyelids for an intense eye look. Simplicity, a pretty champagne color, goes into the inner corners of my eyes and under my brow bone. It's magical and makes my eyes look so much bigger and wide awake! I pair the Weekend Lip Gloss, that I also purchased, to finish the effortless, holiday look.

There are two things I love : Miniatures and gift sets. When Aerin had the miniature perfume set for the holiday season, I had to get it! The set had some very interesting scents -- Amber Musk, Ikat Jasmine, Waterlily Sun, Gardenia Rattan, Lilac Path, and Iris Meadow. I love how different all these scents are and their cuteness value majorly impresses me!
If you've tried out anything from the brand, let me know!
Cheers!
