Let's Talk About Body Shop

I guess anywhere you grow up, there's probably a Body Shop there. I remember I got my first perfume from there when I was in High School. I felt so very grown up! Every time I go into Body Shop now I remember how I felt then. I still get nostalgic for some of the scents I used to use back in the day!

Today when I was clearing out my cupboard for more space (as always!) I found a lot of hings from Body Shop that are quite new and things that I do reach for a lot. So, I thought I would talk about the products from Body Shop that I do love.

I'm always interested in trying out new face masks. I adore the ones from Body Shop. Especially the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask and Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask. Even though I have tried all the masks from this range these two are my favourites! I use both these masks at least once every week. The smell of the Rose Mask is just divine and it has a gel like texture which I do enjoy. The Clarifying Mask does do its job perfectly, and the granules in the mask work well in mild exfoliation for me. Lets also take a minute to appreciate the packaging! Pretty luxury standard as far as I am concerned. 

Everyone wants to smell good, right? I have always loved the body creams and butters that Body Shop does. But there is something truly special with the Japanese Camellia Cream. It has a whipped texture which does not feel sticky on your skin--which is the best thing in the world! I've never been a fan of waiting for my lotions and creams to absorb right, so something that absorbs right away has my vote. If you use it after using the Brazilian Cupuacu Scrub-in-oil, it's even better! I like scrubs which aren't too harsh on the skin for regular use. This is gentle exfoliation with a divine scent! 

My all-time scents from Body Shop that I love are Madagascar Vanilla Flower Body Mist and Strawberry Body Mist. There's something about smelling like a field of strawberries or a vanilla pod that I really do seem to enjoy!
