The spring/summer shows of the year are sizzling with colors, as always! These are a few of my favorites. Being a color connoisseur, I had a lot of fun putting together this list after watching my favorite shows and following the trends! Of all the colors that are gracing the runways and design field this year, I have a select few that are my personal favorites.
Pale Dogwood is a subtle, muted pink -- a perfect color that balances out the bolds that this year has to offer. It's a perfect shade that can be combined with any of the other shades that are part of the lineup. Or you could always follow the trend of wearing the color as a monochromatic outfit, which seems to be the prevalent one.
Primrose Yellow is probably one of my favorite colors of the year. I am a firm believer in uplifting and sunny shades, and this yellow is just that! It has the versatility to be the full outfit, or could be peppered as print/motif on another color.
Pink Yarrow, a bold "look at me" pink has always been a winner at the colors. Every time a bright pink pops up we tend to move towards it.
Niagara is a very versatile shade of blue indeed. It takes on different values depending on the fabric it's used on. It's a relaxing and softer shade, which Pantone experts call "Medium Grade Denim". It would be the most prevalent shade of the Spring Collections.
Flame has replaced red with a shade which is in between red and orange. Its a fun and flamboyant color that is a wonderful addition to your wardrobe this year. This can be the complete attire (like a dress) or a part of the attire.

Colors are a very important part of our lives. If you're an adventurous soul, don't stick to the rules and wear whatever color makes you happy! I reckon this year's projected colors would make me happy, they just call out to me! This is why every year's lineup puts a skip in my steps. Let me know your favorites of this year's Pantone colors on my Instagram page.
Cheers! Madhu x
