Walking the Streets of Notting Hill

One of my favourite things to do in London is going on walks, especially those streets in Notting Hill. The streets have streets of colored townhouses which are so very pretty! Notting Hill also has these cute little boutiques and restaurants. The Portobello Road Market is also an incredible place to putter around in. I love doing photoshoots in the area through the seasons -- especially during Cherry Blossom seasons.

The very first time I did visit was when it warmed up in London last year. I dragged a friend with me, naturally. How else can you get those wonderful pictures? The cherry blossoms were just the icing on the cake! I walked and sampled the food and beverages available, poked around in the shops and had a truly wonderful day.

The cobbled stone streets with those pretty townhouses just brighten up my days! Just visiting the Notting Hill area makes me realise why it's on so many lists of 'The Prettiest Mews in London'. It's just like something out of a storybook! And for me, those are the best streets to venture out on -- because who doesn't like to feel like a part of the pretty storytelling and illustrations in children's books once in a while? Not me!

Some of my favourite coffeehouses and healthy restaurants are in the locality. Though, to be fair, I'd try out any of the places at least once as they look so picturesque. Usually, I go with a friend for those amazing picture opportunities.

But I also recommend just visiting Notting Hill by your lonesome, picking a cute little restaurant to sit in to eat, read or work at! It gives you the much coveted 'me time' while still stepping out of the bubble of staying at home.

Let me know if you have any places for me to check out in Notting Hill!

Cheers!
